We borrowed a car from a friend for a few days to have some mini adventures. It was nice to go a bit further, shop at different places and breathe in the fresh air.

In addition to visiting Caesar Chavez park in Berkeley (photos in previous post), we hiked in Oakland and visited the shore in Alameda.

We received word that the summer concerts in the park have been cancelled. I knew it was coming but still breaks my heart.

Otherwise we are enjoying ourselves best we can. Lunch on the balcony helps.

walks keeps us sane

Every day we walk down to lakeside park. The lake can be crowded with people and so we have to avoid it. We don't interact with anyone but its keeps us sane.
