attending the Nutcracker soon!

We bought our tickets for the San Francisco Ballet’s Nutcracker already! Clover is so excited. She already knows the story and the music and is in pre-ballet this semester where she will dance to some of Tchaikovsky’s music. My little baby will be five in just over a month and is going to her first theater performance!

winter inspiration

In December I went to see the Nutcracker at the SF Ballet. I looked forward to it for the whole month. I went with special people and we got all dressed up. We took the BART train right to Civic Center on a cold winter night. The ballet house was decorated so beautifully and the costumes and production were fantastic. It was really fun but I think I rather like the idea of going to the ballet rather than sitting through the whole actual production. I am fascinated by these two snapshots of dancers by Debbie Powell and Julie Morstad. I have the attention span long enough to stare at these images over and over again throughout the week since seeing them. ^_^
