Its Monday and I am home with Emma. I have a doctor’s appointment this afternoon and took the morning off to hang out. I got up and took a shower before Emma woke up. Then we walked to my work to drop something off. Lots of children and parents at my school got the chance to see her and Emma was full of smiles for them. Afterwards we took a leisurely walk back down San Pablo, stopping for coffee at Caffe Trieste and window shopping all the way home.
Kate Lewis paintings are so lovely. Green Kitchen is my favorite (if it were possible to choose a favorite).
Dieppa Restrepos shoes. I have not forgotten about the Frye boots I want and though I cannot afford these either we might as well add them to the list. ^_^ The navy oxfords are so nice.
Naruto. If you haven’t watched all of it then you are not on the level with me right now. But you could be some day.
I have been filled with anxiety. Next Thursday I have to go back to work. I am trying to talk it out and I know that I will be surrounded by friends when I return. I know that everyone will be supportive. I know that Emma Clover will be well taken care of by her papa. I know that they will visit me on my lunch break but none of this comforts me. Okay maybe a little.
Today I took Emma for a walk in the stroller and met a co-worker friend for lunch. It was delicious and relaxing. I really needed that today.
