Emma has unfortunately has been sick pretty much every hot day this summer aside from one weekend. In Oakland we have very few summer like days. The weather will jump twenty or thirty degrees and those are the best days to visit the outside city pools (or the usually cool and windy San Francisco coast). I realize however that Emma is not bothered by this at all. She likes Oakland and being outside at the gardens and the parks, and the pools when she gets the opportunity. She can watch the seasons change here. And she always looks to the change of autumn with anticipation since it is the season of her birthday.
