



Feeling so grateful for where we live, our health and abundance.


Thanksgiving Menu:
Breakfast: Pumpkin pie and coffee
Lunch: Curry bread, omelette, potatoes
Dinner: Goat cheese with cranberry on crackers, Beckman’s stuffing, nuts, chardonnay.
Update Spent the afternoon and evening and all the next day on a challenging underwater puzzle.


We have taken many walks around the lake.

We shopped for persimmons at Berkeley Bowl.


We took night walks to see our neighbors decorations.

We have been admiring all the changing leaves.


We went on picnics with our friends so the two Emmas could play.




We found sweet freedom in being able to wander out of doors again. Weeks of heat and toxic air from smoke led me to fear the worst for our future. We are accustomed to social distancing practices from the pandemic but to not be able to open a window and breathe the air was too much. We needed this respite to stretch our legs again.
