getting lots of use out of our rain gear

visit to the nature center and the bees

playing inside a lot and loving this calico critter playhouse

Ah November. Its colder, rainier and shares the most beautiful light before all is dark again. I am forever eating soups, sipping tea and eating my weight in toasted bread to keep warm. This winter the couch and blankets will gets lots of love. We have been watching some interesting new shows like the Detectorists and Scorpion and enjoying old favorites like Elementary and Agents of Shield. Also there is another new show that is really great if you can get past the title. ^_^
Dressing up is not just for Halloween. This picture could have been any day of the week because Clover loves to dress up!
Its too bad that she also gets a lot of unwanted attention about her clothes. I have never expected that she acknowledge strangers that speak to her and I wish that people would simply leave her alone. Sometimes I will chime in with a tidbit about how kids love dress up or something but more often than not I do not engage. There are a million reasons why it bothers me and I wish our society would stop commenting on girl’s and women’s clothing when they are out in public. Why is this a thing?!
I love this picture even more because Emma is six feet off the ground in the arms of a person who empower her most to be the person that she wants to be.
I am enjoying the light lately and the warm glow through the tent. Totally blown away when I saw this tea party. So creative and funny.
I love spending time with these two. We went to the Oakland Museum together this week. They bought a gyroscope and it gets played with daily. ^_^
