Warmer weather has finally arrived in the bay area so we have been visiting the beaches in Alameda.

We finally went out on a date for my bithday.
We went to Almond & Oak. I will return for the foccacia.
We took Gene on a grocery tour of Berkeley. Monterey Market was the true winner.
Emma made me breakfast, I made the coffee. Almond butter on our home made bread with fruit is my favorite. Emma gave me 2 cards with frogs and one with a sea monster. She knows me so well.
We went to the final concert in the park in the afternoon. On our walk we ran into our friends. 🙂

The next day we went on a date in our neighborhood while Emma stayed home. Its a whole new world to be a part of now that we are parents who can go out alone!
