We had a fun day out in S.F.! Emma and I ate bowls of udon noodle soup that were so good. maiki tried on lots of clothes at Sou Sou and we all got something nice to wear. We always visit the Kinokuniya book shop and Nijiya market. I bought barley tea to make at home.
Saturday was hot for Oakland so I decided it was time for a change of scenery. I wanted to stretch my legs and it was a day of walking around the city. I was so thankful that it was an adventure I was ready to take on. Feeling almost back to normal (after months with long covid).
We took the ferry back home.
We visited the SF Asian Art museum to see the exhibition “Continuity” by Team Lab. The projections of flowers, birds, butterflies were so beautiful and immersive. From the moment I stepped inside I smelled flowers and it was warm and dreamy, especially compared to the stormy weather outside the museum. I am so thankful that Emma and I were invited to see it!
We visited the San Francisco MoMA with Discover and Go passes from the Oakland library. It was a wonderful visit.
