Over the weekend we attended the fundraiser for the Lake Merritt Gardens called the Autumn Lights Festival. The event was sponsored by PG&E and was a fantastic light and art display in the gardens that took place in the evenings. We loved it and were so happy to attend.
Our CSA has been generous with the pomegranates lately. Emma takes a while to eat them, preferring to pick the seeds out one by one rather then letting me help her. I like when I catch her with one right up to her face, trying to eat it faster. ^_^
It rained a lot in the night and this morning and Clover and I were eager to wear our rain boots and walk down to the garden. Much to my surprise I found this little frog hanging out in some rain water that collected in the flower. I love frogs so much and rarely ever see them anymore no matter how hard I look. It was a wonderful surprise for me.
