A perfect book for a child named Clover Magnolia. And Zoccoli’s for lunch.

At Book Shop Santa Cruz we bought this book (Chrysanthemum) as well as “Jenny Goes to Sea” by Esther Averill. Emma and I have been reading the other Jenny Linsky books and were so happy to read a chapter of this one every night of our stay in Santa Cruz. It is all about travel and being at sea which made it well matched for our trip.
