We visited the beach in Alameda Tuesday morning with friends knowing that there would be low tide. Emma enjoyed walking around and exploring the muddy shore and digging. We then got to watch the tides roll in, and as you can see in this picture they were coming in two different directions. It was so calming to watch the patterns in the water.
Ending the week with a homeschool meet up in Alameda. Emma played near the water with the other children and dug holes in the sand. It was so relaxing to sit on the quiet beach and talk with the other parents.

I for one am not enjoying the ninety degree weather that we have been having. I am surely looking forward to autumn and love the cooler temps. Last week we visited Crab Cove in Alameda and it was nice to stick our feet in the cold water, even if it was filled with sea lettuce. ^_^
