This weekend maiki got a new bicycle. We celebrated our holiday weekend by drinking brews from Drake’s at Local 123, Boont Amber from Seabreeze, Death & Taxes from Lanesplitter’s, and Anchor Steam in SF from a Thai sports bar in North Beach. ^_^

love for you seba jun!
While I was an Fanime this weekend I found out that a favorite musician of mine had passed away—Nujabes. I began listening to the Samurai Champloo soundtrack obsessively after first viewing it four years ago. It has been the soundtrack to my life ever since and all of his other music has been added to the rotation. I am saddened by this news.

where I’ve been for the past week
…in bed but fortunately getting better. High fevers and a bit of pneumonia have put life on hold. I have had lots of support from my nurse maiki who is taking excellent care of me. ^_^

Been looking at rentals and that’s always an interesting experience. I hope that we find something special or at least a place that can become homey.
