Going through Richard Serra’s Sequence
Going through the Richard Serra Sequence sculpture. Today was one of our best days at the museum. So glad I have had a membership this past year!
afternoon visit to the museum
We spent the afternoon at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art. It has been one of my favorite places for many years now and I feel so fortunate to get to share it with Emma Clover. She really enjoys visiting. We keep it simple if needed, take breaks and if its overwhelming we can always leave and come back. It is close to the Yerba Buena garden and a playground with tall slides. In the museum she likes the Sightglass cafe for a croissant snack and the museum gift shop with its fun selection of toys and books. She remembers so much about the art we see and likes play navigator using the map to lead me around. With seven floors it must feel enormous but she finds it exciting.
