Perfect rainy day activity for us; a visit to the Junior Art and Science Center play room called Jake’s Garden. Clover dressed up with wings, pretended to BBQ and organized food in the playhouse kitchen. She played with a vintage Little People house identical to the one that I spent hours playing with when I was little. We worked on a puzzle that turned out to be four different mini puzzles, but they were many missing pieces. Quite the challenge! Outside we watched sea gulls, ducks, geese and coots in the bird reserve and happily swimming in the lake. We were pleasantly surprised to see a real sunflower growing, just like the wood and painted ones on the walls inside the play room.
