dreaming of winter

Don’t get me wrong I have been enjoying Berkeley’s warm and sunny days but ever since we went to see Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince, I have been dreaming about the cold. There is snow and the lighting inside the castle is so dreamy. Plus they are all dressed in the cutest sweaters and scarves and woolen coats. There is something about fall that really gets me excited to shop for the coming school term (and that includes clothes too). Its silly I know but I am actually still a student so I indulge just a little.

new timbuk2 bag

I finally purchased the wool Timbuk2 bag that I have wanted for a long time. As a bicyclist it really is the best bag for me because it doesn’t get in the way or slip off my shoulder. I have never been a purse fan either and have been searching for so long for a good bag to use. The wool was a special order and almost out of stock. I went for the extra small since I don’t usually carry my laptop and it has worked out to be the perfect size for me.

I carry just the essentials: the book I am reading, iPod, headphones, cell phone, sunglasses, prescription glasses, moleskine, pen, altoids, Kiehl’s salve, camera and money.

back to school

This is one of my favorite times of the year because I love preparing to go back to school. Shopping for the appropriate clothes and supplies has always been so exciting for me. Last year I got a new backpack, as well as an army of art supplies. This year I have to get a new bike and soon I will also have a supply list for my classes. I know that I don’t really need any new clothes but I cannot help but wanting to shop for that too.
