holiday by the sea
Memorial day we went to the beach all together and even found parking at El Porto. It was a little sunny and a little overcast. We watched for dolphins in the water farther out and Emma made friends near by to dig in the sand with and some to teach her to do flips. I sat and stared at the rolling waves trying to remember to be present and take it all in.
French toast all day every day
We ate out a lot and seemed to be snacking on leftover french toast all day every day. Clover also had nutella toast, and waffles with strawberries and whipped cream and syrup. So much syrup. We really know how to enjoy ourselves on vacation.
puzzle mania 2018
Elayne and I put together a five hundred piece puzzle basically in an evening (with a little bit left to the next morning). We watched Frozen and Beauty and the Beast and pieced little bits of color where we hoped they would fit. Emma assembled the smaller puzzles over the the couple days we stayed and we left them all out on the coffee table to show off our great accomplishments.
