Visiting the charter school today to sign papers and start planning our kindergarten curriculum. It is all quite exciting. We have already begun some workbooks and she loves them so far because she is so ready for “school.” Math is her favorite thing to do so far. She has been documenting the things that she is interested in by making drawings. We often look up things online and find books at the library and then she will illustrate what she has learned. Our education coordinator gave us some pre-reading materials to start using called All About Reading and a science activity book to use for experiments. The kindergartners will be attending a class session at Live Oak Park this fall where they will learn about the seasons. It will be a busy time for us because we will be signing Clover up for swimming lessons and dance classes soon as well. I am sure it will be fun though. When winter comes we will be ready to hibernate for a month or so and just read and learn and walk to the gardens for fresh air. ^_^

Math work book on a Sunday night in July? Sure homeschooling is everyday.
