Emma’s charter school families visited the Monterey Bay aquarium and we decided to drive down too. It was an excellent day once we finally got to Monterey. The aquarium was amazing and Emma had the pleasure running into friends all through out the day.
We reserve Discover & Go passes from the library every spring to visit the Academy of Sciences. It is an amazing place and we save $70 in admission costs (1adult, 1 child)! This was maiki’s first visit and we had an amazing time.
Clover set up this scene this morning. When asked about it she said that they were on a visit to the aquarium. The turtles were the first thing that they saw and told the group that the mermaids were asleep and the exhibits were closed. Next she decided to set up a ballet performance. The cardboard back drop was turned around so that pink side was showing. I look forward to seeing how it all progresses. So far it seems they are having ballet camp, just like Clover.
