We went to the Oakland Zoo with friends and it was really fun. The highlight for me was seeing an alligator swimming underwater. Unfortunately I did not get a photo but it looked like this. We both enjoyed watching the mama baboon cuddle (and perhaps breastfeed) her baby baboon and seeing the gibbon swinging in the trees. We blew bubbles for a bunch of squirrel monkeys and it really caught their interest. And Emma really enjoyed the rides that she went on at the end of the day. She rode an elephant, a blue car and a red airplane. It was a very busy day. ^_^
