The Miffy cafe is super cute. We did not hang out there because we did not have a reservation. Specialty cafes all need reservations but if one could plan ahead then the options are wild. Emma wants to visit the Kirby Cafe. I have seen animal cafes with cats, capybaras and pigs. There is an owl “experience” where you can pet and even hold an owl. Today I saw a place with tiny puppies that we so cute and you could see them in the window.

My goal was to visit the Mina Perhonen shop in Daikanyama.

Beautiful Mina Perhonen fabric.

The area felt the most like California in its layout and architecture. This building just looked transported and dropped here.

At the Conran shop.

I loved this bakery and market.

A lush plant shop.

The Tsutaya book shop is like heaven.

An installation of art by Suki Morinaga.

They have so many books that interest me that I could easily spend a month in this shop alone, and have a nice place to sit.

I found a shop that wants to be in Venice called Hollywood Ranch Market. It has cute clothes and lovely smelling incense. I did buy a branded bottle opener because the place where we are staying didn’t have a way to open my bottle of Hitachino Nest (owl) beer.

I love the rope curtain in front of this restaurant.

Sweater at Kapital.

All the stores I like have dried flower hanging in them. At the bookstore they sold dried flower arrangements.

Botanical prints at Caramel.
